She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and since 2008 has been an Associate Professor at Rush University College of Nursing. She currently serves as Program Director for the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program at Rush.

Ms. Odiaga is married with 2 wonderful children adopted from China. Together her family enjoys outdoor activities, yoga, cooking, and travel. She also is a co-leader for her childrens’ Brownies and Girl Scouts troops.
