Drop-side cribs banned.

Please follow this link to the Chicago Tribune’s website to read about the new ban on all cribs with drop-down sides.  Although the ban doesn’t legally go into effect for six months, we urge you to stop using these types of cribs now to ensure the safety of your child.

FluMist supply has been depleted

We have administered our entire supply of FluMist, the nasal spray flu vaccine.  However we still have plenty of single-dose injectable flu vaccine for children older than 6 months old.  There’s plenty of time left to immunize before “flu season” hits, so please call and schedule your child’s flu vaccine appointment today!

Vote for your favorite “Doc”

Chicago Parent magazine is having an online contest for parents and patients to vote for their favorite pediatrician, specialist, or therapist.  Please follow this link or go to ChicagoParent.com/KidsDocs to nominate one (or all) of us today!  You’ll need our office address to complete the nomination, so go to our website here to view the addresses for all three of our locations.  This promotion ends December 31st.

One of Chicago’s “Top Docs!”

Dr. Diane Fondriest was recently named one of the “Top Pediatricians in Chicago and the Suburbs” by Castle Connolly Medical, Ltd. as seen in the October issue of Chicago Magazine.  Dr. Fondriest was the only pediatrician listed under Lake Forest Hospital.  Help us congratulate her for receiving this honor!
